Multimodal Transport Solutions

Combining road, rail, sea and air transport to offer the most efficient logistics solutions.

Several modes, one shipment

Multimodal transport combines road, rail, sea and air under a single transport arrangement. Instead of forcing every shipment onto one mode, each leg of the journey uses whatever moves the cargo best: a truck for first and last mile, rail for the long overland stretch, a ferry across the Caspian or Black Sea, or air freight when speed matters most. The shipment stays under one contract and one responsible forwarder from start to finish.

Why combine modes

No single mode is fastest, cheapest and most reliable at once. Rail carries volume overland at a steady cost; sea legs bridge the Caspian and Black Sea where no road exists; road handles the flexible door-to-door ends; air covers urgent or high-value cargo. Combining them lets a route balance transit time against cost, and gives a fallback when one corridor is congested or disrupted.

The Eurasian corridor in practice

Between Europe and Central Asia, multimodal routing often blends overland transport with Caspian Sea ferries and Caucasus transit, and can connect through Black Sea ports for containerised and general cargo. Routes are chosen per shipment based on origin, destination, cargo type and deadline, then coordinated so each handover between modes is planned rather than improvised.
